FAQs
I’m often asked…
Here are a few frequently asked question in relation to my counselling service.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or would like to speak to someone outside your usual support network, counselling could help. A counsellor provides a safe space to work through personal challenges or issues you’re facing.
Each session is guided by your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re looking for self-reflection or direction, the conversation will move at your own pace. The Person-centred counselling approach is non-directive, meaning I’m not here to “fix” you, but to support and empower you to heal and find your own path forward.
I offer counselling sessions through Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp, starting with a free initial consultation to discuss your situation and how I can support you. Online sessions are flexible, secure, and provide the same professional care from the comfort of your own home. If you prefer a different platform, I’m happy to discuss alternatives to suit your needs.
Counselling can help with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, grief, identity struggles, and questions surrounding gender or sexuality. It provides a supportive space to explore personal difficulties and find a way forward.
The number of sessions is entirely your choice. Many clients choose to attend regular sessions until they feel more at ease with their situation. You’re always welcome to return for further support whenever you feel the need.
Yes, everything shared during counselling is confidential. The only exception is if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, in which case we’ll discuss further steps to ensure your safety.
Discounted rates are available upon request and are based on your individual circumstances. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your options.
